Bathroom Painting Services
We specialise in bathroom-specific painting techniques. From moisture management to tile painting, we handle every aspect to ensure your bathroom finish lasts.
Moisture-Resistant Coatings
Standard emulsion absorbs moisture and fails in bathrooms. Bubbling, peeling, and mould growth follow when the wrong product meets daily steam.
We use bathroom-grade emulsions and moisture-resistant topcoats throughout. These repel steam rather than absorb it. Combined with a mould-inhibiting primer on every surface, the finish lasts considerably longer than a standard repaint.
Ceiling and Wall Painting
Bathroom ceilings accumulate moisture first. They show staining quickly and deteriorate before the walls.
We prepare the ceiling before the walls. Any existing mould is treated with a specialist solution and allowed to dwell before washing off. Fresh primer is applied before the finish coat. Walls follow the same sequence. No shortcuts at the preparation stage.
Tile Painting
Some bathrooms have tiles that are sound but dated in colour. Replacing tiles is a significant disruption. Painting them is a practical alternative where the tiles are in good condition.
We use specialist tile primer and hard-wearing topcoat. Suitable for wall tiles only. We advise on expected longevity during the site visit and are clear about what tile painting can and cannot achieve.
Ventilation and Preparation
The most common reason bathroom paint fails early is poor ventilation combined with inadequate preparation. If an extractor fan is underperforming, paint will fail regardless of product quality.
We raise ventilation concerns during the site visit when we observe clear signs of poor airflow. Ongoing ventilation is the homeowner’s responsibility. We handle preparation and correct product selection.
En-Suite and Cloakroom Painting
En-suites in larger Chiltern properties tend to be smaller rooms with less natural light. Cloakrooms under staircases in Old Beaconsfield period properties can present tight working conditions.
We work efficiently in compact spaces without cutting corners on preparation time. Smaller rooms take less time overall, but the same preparation standards apply.
